In-Person Group Fitness Classes

We are excited to be expanding our schedule of in-person fitness classes this winter!

Most in-person group fitness classes are walk-in only. Only Get Fit with Ivy and Aerobics with Strength Training with Ivy require advance registration to save your spot due to class popularity.
Mondays

Morning Yoga with Jennifer

Start the morning with an energizing practice and breathe in a fresh start to your day!

Strength & Conditioning with Caroline
Mondays | 9:30 – 10:20 AM

Start your morning off with a high intensity class that targets all the major muscle groups with a combination of bodyweight exercises, weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, and a core- strengthening mat workout. This class is for intermediate to advanced exercisers, comfortable with jumping, squatting and lifting 5-10 lb dumbbells.

Pilates Plus with Elizabeth (Intermediate) (Hybrid class)

This class combines traditional Pilates exercises plus other strength and toning modalities. It involves the integration of strength, stabilization and alignment. The skills you develop in this class will help with proper, protective body mechanics in everyday activities.

Zen Surf Yoga with Jennifer (Intermediate)
Tuesdays | 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Fitness Studio
Surf through movement, meditation, sound and stretch. Focuses on opening the body, mind and soul. The class begins with core work and Asanas to warm and challenge the body, followed by restorative movement and stretch. Meditation and sound bring the class to a nurturing and gentle finish.

Pilates Fusion with Jennifer

A little barre, a little yoga and a lot of Pilates! Plankwork, arm weights and standing work for the lower body, transition to the mat for core targeting the many abdominal muscles as well as thighs, glutes and back.

A high intensity cardio HIIT workout along with strength training exercises. There will be some modifications offered, but expect to jump, squat, and get down on a mat for a portion of the class.

We offer nearly 30 live-streaming virtual fitness classes for members looking to stay active from the comfort and safety of home. We offer classes at all levels, from gentle to intermediate to high intensity, so you can find the class that’s right for your goals and abilities. Monday Classes

Pilates with C (Intermediate)
Mondays | 9:00 – 9:50 AM
This mat class focuses on activating core strength, the elongation of postural muscles and the awareness of breath to combat the stiffness and stress that often comes with our daily activities. Open to all levels, this class will have participants feeling invigorated with a sense of strength and peace in both body and mind. Class uses elastic exercise bands. Safe for people with Osteopenia and Osteoporosis. Participants must be able to get up and down from the floor.

Intuitive Alignment with Anne (Gentle)
Mondays | 10:00 – 11:00 AM
Alignment based yoga class with an emphasis on precision that supports joint mobility, bone density, balance and flexibility.

This class provides a full body workout alternating between fun cardio segments and muscle strengthening segments. We also work on balance and we challenge the brain with some fun drills. The entire workout can be done with or without equipment. If you have a resistance band, weights (soup cans will do!), a small ball and a stable chair, please feel free to have those nearby. Most importantly, bring yourself and plan on having a good time with your fitness friends.

Vinyasa Yoga with Jolene (High Intensity)
Mondays | 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Mind and body come together as you move smoothly through yoga poses, while maintaining awareness of breath. Achieve better posture, flexibility, balance and strength to improve your focus.

Tai Chi with Roberto (Gentle)

Tai chi is an art that promotes balance, strength, grace, and flexibility, and it promotes a meditative mood with its “dance of quiet motion.”

Low Impact Cardio & Conditioning with Shana (Gentle)
Tuesdays | 11:00 – 11:45 AM
Cardio based class with low impact movements set to rhythmic music.

Pilates with Elizabeth (Intermediate) Hybrid Class
Tuesdays | 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM
This class focuses on core strength. Pilates exercises involve the integration of strength, stabilization and alignment. The skills you develop in this class will help with proper, protective body mechanics in everyday activities.

Zumba with Demetra (Intermediate)
Tuesdays | 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Zumba combines high energy, captivating music with Latin-inspired moves that will leave you asking for more! Zumba is a “feel good” workout for all levels.

Wednesday Classes

Zumba Gold with Adja (Intermediate)
Wednesdays | 10:45 – 11:30 AM
Zumba Gold is designed for the older active adult. It is a lower intensity version of the popular Zumba Dance Fitness program that uses easy to follow choreography based mostly on Latin Rhythms. The focus of the classwork is on cardiovascular conditioning, with special attention to coordination, balanced and flexibility. Come prepared to sweat, and leave feeling rejuvenated and empowered.

Chair Yoga with Susan (Gentle)
Wednesdays | 12:30 – 1:15 PM
Chair yoga is a general term for practices that modify yoga poses so that they can be done while seated in a chair. Great for all Levels. Stable chair, strap or long scarf recommended.

Please note: The last class for Chair Yoga with Susan will be Wednesday, November 30.

Thursday Classes

Silver Sneakers with Core and More with Elizabeth (Gentle/Intermediate)
Thursdays | 12:00 – 12:45 PM
This class provides a full body workout alternating between fun cardio and muscle strengthening segments. We also work on balance and challenge the brain with fun drills. The entire workout can be done with or without equipment. If you have a resistance band, weights (soup cans will do!), a small ball and a stable chair, please feel free to have those items nearby. Most importantly, bring yourself and plan on having a good time with your fitness friends.

We will end the class with a 10 minute floor workout. Feel free to participate in just the standing segment. If you’d like to join us for the final floor segment, either a mat or a soft carpet will do.

Hatha Yoga with Chintamani (Intermediate)
Fridays | 9:00 – 10:00 AM
Gentle yoga class designed to condition your body, improve your health, and calm your mind. Detailed instructions help prevent injuries and create a welcoming atmosphere for beginners and more studied practitioners alike.

Tai Chi with Roberto (Gentle)
Fridays | 10:30 – 11:15 AM
Develop balance, body and breath control, strength, and posture in this harmonious class.

Saturday Classes

Masala Bhangra with Cloe (Intermediate)
Saturdays | 10:30 – 11:15 AM
Please note: Last class is October 29

An Indian dance-based fitness program for people of all ages and fitness levels. You will be introduced to high energy Bhangra and Bollywood dance movements in an easy to follow fitness format.

Pilates with Allyson (Intermediate)
Saturdays | 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Mat pilates that is gentle and effective You will need a resistance band and a thick mat. Strengthen and tone, stretch and limber up, align your spine, activate your core. Additional prop (if needed) is a cushion or pillow. Modifications to movements provided, as well as ways to progress movements for a bit more of a challenge.

Sunday Classes

Resilient Strength with Shana (Gentle/Intermediate)
Sundays I 10:00 – 10:50 AM
20 minutes of cardio training followed by 20 minutes of bodyweight and free weight exercises all designed to improve balance, muscle strength and joint stability.

Vinyasa Yoga with Natalia (High Intensity)
Sundays | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Athletic style of flow yoga offers variety of sequencing, providing variations in each pose for all levels. This practice increases athleticism by combining hard work and deep relaxation.

Family Fitness Classes

We offer select in-person fitness classes for young families for new parents and their babies or toddlers. Parents can stay active and connect with other new parents, while babies and toddlers move their bodies and get the benefits of socialization with other children.
